Nuria Espallargas, NTNU, successfully presented the MORE work
Nuria Espallargas, NTNU, presenting at the Ocean Tribology Conferenced Nuria Espallargas, NTNU, presenting at Ocean Tribology at the Low Countries in Ostend, Belgium in April 2026. Her talk "Tribocorrosion and Multidegradation Behavior of Stainless Steels and Coatings for Wave Energy Converters" was prepared together with her colleague Hamid Khanmohammadi and focused on the testing done by NTNU during the MORE project. Project meeting at CorPower Ocean, Stockholm
MORE project team in front of a buoy (a small one) at CorPower Ocean The project team had two interesting days at CorPower Ocean, Stockholm. The days were filled with interesting discussions about how the project will develop during the project's final year. The rigs are being used to continue tests of materials, the analyses continue, and the guideline is slowly but surely being built up. Exciting days with energy and a hope for a future with more offshore green energy.

Project at a Glance
The large‑scale multi‑degradation rig The MORE project is accelerating the development of next‑generation marine materials for offshore renewable energy (ORE). By improving the durability, reliability, and performance of materials in harsh ocean environments, MORE supports the deployment of stronger, longer‑lasting, and more cost‑efficient energy devices. What We’re Delivering Advanced multi‑degradation testing through newly built small‑ and large‑scale test rigs now enteri
